AlumiTank 2-Year Limited Warranty
AlumiTank warrants that every AlumiTank-manufactured product is free from defects in materials and workmanship for two (2) years from the date of purchase, under normal use and service conditions. Coverage applies to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable. A valid proof of purchase (invoice or sales order) must accompany any claim.
If AlumiTank determines a product has a covered defect, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace the product or component. Repaired or replaced items are covered for the remainder of the original warranty period. AlumiTank is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages such as towing costs, lost time, or lost fuel.
What's not covered:
- Improper installation or mounting, including support straps placed over a tank's internal baffles or over-torqued fasteners
- Unauthorized modifications – any welding, drilling, cutting, or reshaping without AlumiTank's written approval
- Misuse, abuse, over-pressurization, overloading beyond rated capacity, or operation beyond product specifications
- Fuel or chemical incompatibility, including corrosive substances or additives beyond recommended limits
- Design flaws in products built to a customer-supplied design (workmanship and materials are still covered)
- Normal wear and tear or cosmetic deterioration – scratches, dents, surface corrosion, finish degradation
- Accidents, collisions, floods, fires, or other events beyond AlumiTank's control
- Floor samples, display models, or products sold "as is" or second-hand
How to make a claim:
Email warranty@alumitank.com with the subject "WARRANTY CLAIM – [Name / PO# / Invoice#/Serial#]" before the warranty period expires. Include proof of purchase, photos or video of the defect, and a brief description of how and when it was discovered. If inspection is needed, we'll issue a Sales Return Authorization (SRA) number with return instructions. Customer covers inbound freight; if the defect is covered, AlumiTank repairs or replaces at no cost and covers return shipping.
